MIDDLESEX COUNTY on August 29, 2022: Middlesex County is undertaking a Public Transportation Needs Assessment Study to examine possible transit solutions for County residents, workers, students, and visitors. The objective of the study is to review existing services, identify local travel needs, and develop a plan to address the needs identified.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY (August 23, 2022): Last week, Middlesex County attended the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s (AMO) 2022 conference in Ottawa where delegates met with provincial government officials to address some of the County’s most pressing concerns. The conference was held in person after two years of virtual discussions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY (July 19, 2022): On July 19, 2022, Middlesex County announced details on the launch of the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program in Middlesex County.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY on July 19, 2022 Middlesex County Council approved an Agreement between the County of Middlesex and Fanshawe College for the creation of the Middlesex County Early Childhood Education Bursary. This bursary will be made available to Middlesex County residents applying to the Early Childhood Education program at Fanshawe College for the 2022-2023 school year.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY on June 6, 2022 the County of Middlesex terminated the Emergency declared on March 17, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY on May 12, 2022, the Municipality of Thames Centre hosted the 2022 Middlesex Municipal Day at the new Thorndale Lions Community Centre. The event saw over 90 delegates from the County of Middlesex, Local Municipalities, the Middlesex-London Health Unit, the Middlesex County Library Board, local Conservation Authorities, and various community partners.
