Middlesex County is excited to announce the expansion of the Middlesex County Connect inter-community transit Route 3 service to include a new stop at the Amazon Fulfillment Centre in Southwold, effective August 6, 2024.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the County of Middlesex passed county-wide Development Charges By-law No. 7291 on the 16th day of July, 2024 under the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended;

Please be advised the elevator located at the Middlesex County Building at 399 Ridout St. North London, Ontario, is out of service. A date on how long the elevator will remain out of service has not yet been identified.

TAKE NOTICE that on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 the Council of the County of Middlesex will hold a hybrid public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the County’s proposed Development Charges (D.C.) By-law and underlying Background Study. 

Middlesex County half-load restrictions will be removed on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 until further notice.

Notice is hereby given that the above Municipal Road Departments will be spraying for weed control and intend to apply the following pesticides registered under the Pest Control Products Act: CLEARVIEW Herbicide with active ingredients: Aminopyralid, present as potassium salt and Metsulfuron-Methyl (Registration #29752).

TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of By-law No. 5650, the Notice By-law, the Council of the Corporation of the County of Middlesex intends to pass a by-law to adopt a new Procedural By-law at its regular meeting of Tuesday March 12, 2024. AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that Council shall receive written comments from any person who wishes to make representations respecting the proposed Procedural By-law received by the Acting Legislative Services Manager/Clerk at @email

On November 7, nearly 100 Hydro One employees will work as quickly and safely as possible to disconnect and reconnect power to customers in the vicinity of an 86 km route, starting from the Sarnia Harbour in support of a third-party moving a large vessel.

The County of Middlesex hereby gives notice that a submission has been added to the Navigable Waters Registry pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for public comment as described herein.
