MIDDLESEX COUNTY on December 12, 2023: Middlesex County is taking historic steps towards fostering inclusivity and embracing diversity as it proudly announced acquiring Rainbow Registered Accreditation during the December 12 Council Meeting. This accreditation, granted by Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), marks the County as a nationally accredited 22SLGBTQI+ friendly organization. Being Rainbow Registered means that Middlesex County has not only met but will continue to aim for excellence in the standards set forth by CGLCC.

As the days get shorter and the colder temperatures and snow begin to blanket Middlesex County, a set of challenges for drivers. Middlesex County, November 27, 2023 - As the holiday season approaches, Middlesex County Connect is pleased to announce its special holiday bus service on the Saturdays of December 9th and 16th, 2023. This initiative aims to facilitate the community's festive needs by providing convenient transportation options for holiday shoppers, contributing to an enriched overall holiday experience for residents.

Middlesex County gathered at the 2023 Warden's Banquet last Saturday, marking an opportunity to reflect on the past year. Warden Cathy Burghardt-Jesson highlighted the accomplishments and challenges in Middlesex County along with honouring Tom McLaughlin and The Nicholas Smith Foundation to the 2023 Warden’s Honour Roll for their tremendous contributions to the community.

Middlesex County Administration will be closed on Monday, November 13. Services will resume the following day, Tuesday, November 14.
