This year, Emergency Preparedness Week (EP Week) is May 7-13, 2023.
Emergency Preparedness Week is a national awareness initiative that has taken place annually since 1996. It is a collaborative event undertaken by provincial and territorial emergency management organizations supporting activities at the local level, in concert with Public Safety Canada and partners.
MIDDLESEX COUNTY - On May 2, 2023, the Municipality of North Middlesex hosted the 2023 Middlesex Municipal Day at the North Middlesex District Community Centre. The event saw over 90 delegates from the County of Middlesex, Local Municipalities, the Middlesex-London Paramedic Services, the Middlesex County Library Board, local Conservation Authorities, and various community partners.

Today, April 28th is National Day of Mourning to remember and honour those who have died, been injured, or suffered illness in the workplace. This day also signifies the County’s renewal and commitment to reduce and prevent worker illness and injury. This week we are highlighting Little Lambs Daycare located in Strathroy. This licensed child care centre offers wonderful programs for children ages 3 months to 6 years. These programs will develop your child’s problem-solving, social, and communication skills in an environment that is safe, friendly, interesting, and organized.
