Beginning Friday, March 13 and continuing through Tuesday, May 12 drivers may encounter periodic delays on Plover Mills Road (County Road 16) between Valleyview Road and Nissouri Road as bird-protection netting is installed and monitored on the Plover Mills Bridge.

Parkhouse Drive will be closed between Allen Road and Adelaide Road from Monday, March 9 until Friday, March 20 for a utility connection.

Due to mild temperatures and seasonal rain, Middlesex County half-load restrictions will be in effect starting Saturday, February 28, 2026, until further notice.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY: On February 12, 2026, Warden Sue Clarke issued the following statement regarding the shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

Last week, Middlesex County celebrated a major construction milestone with a “topping off” ceremony at the site of the new Middlesex County Governance and Administration Building, marking the completion of the facility’s structural steel framework.

"The 2025 Warden’s Report reflects many meaningful achievements, including the completion of the Glendon Drive roundabout, the adoption of the County’s 2025-2030 Strategic Plan and the first full year of the MLPS Advanced Care Rapid Response Unit."
