MIDDLESEX COUNTY: On July 16, 2024, Warden Aina DeViet issued the following statement regarding the total proceeds of the 2024 Warden’s Charity Golf Tournament.

Napperton Drive is closed between Pike Road and Kerwood Road due to flooding. This is an emergency closure and is estimated to last a few days. Please see the detour map for more information.

Please be advised the elevator located at the Middlesex County Building at 399 Ridout St. North London, Ontario, is out of service. A date on how long the elevator will remain out of service has not yet been identified.

Nissouri Road will be closed at Thorndale Bridge for a bridge replacement between Dundas Street and Evelyn Drive.

Middlesex County Administration will be closed on Monday, July 1. Services resume Tuesday, July 2. To everyone celebrating during this long weekend, we hope you have wonderful and safe Canada Day festivities!

Environment and Climate Change Canada issued an Extended Heat Warning for London and Middlesex County from Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 21. The forecast predicts high temperatures of 33°C on Monday, 34°C on Tuesday, 33°C on Wednesday, 33°C on Thursday, and 31°C on Friday, with the heat expected to ease on Saturday when the temperature is anticipated to drop to 30°C ending the heat warning.
