Middlesex County Administration Offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 for Canada Day. Services resume on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. To everyone celebrating during this long weekend, we hope you have wonderful and safe Canada Day festivities!

Adelaide Road will be closed between Inadale Drive and Scotchmere Drive from July 14 until July 24 for culvert replacement.

Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting a multi-day heat event for London and Middlesex County starting Sunday, June 22 and continuing through Wednesday, June 25. The forecast predicts four consecutive days of high temperatures. Overnight temperatures are not expected to cool off significantly, which increases the risk of heat-related illness. The heat is expected to ease on Thursday, ending the heat warning.

Giant hogweed is a tall plant that grows up to an astonishing five metres high. Small whisker-like hairs and reddish-purple spots cover its stem. From June to August, it produces a white flower that resembles an umbrella and can stretch one metre wide.

Middlesex County community members are invited to participate in a survey to inform the County’s Official Plan Refresh – a long-term vision that guides decisions around land use, infrastructure, economic development, housing, agriculture, and more.

The Middlesex County Administration Offices will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2025 and Monday, April 21, 2025. Services resume on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 8:30am.

Coldstream Road will be closed at the tracks north of Vanneck Road (CR 38) for emergency CN Rail repairs from Thursday, March 27, 2025 until Monday, March 31, 2025 between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm.

The Middlesex County Administration Offices will be closed from Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 12:00pm until Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Services resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 8:30am.

Longwoods Road (County Road 2) and Carriage Road (County Road 15) intersection will be closed on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 by Hydro One for service improvements.
