Middlesex County Warden’s Statement on the 25th Anniversary of September 11
MIDDLESEX COUNTY: On September 11, 2026 Warden Sue Clarke issued the following statement regarding the 25th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience shown in the face of tragedy.
As we mark this anniversary, we reflect on how that day changed the lives of families, communities, and people around the world. We remember the courage of first responders, the compassion shown by ordinary people, and the resilience that emerged. Twenty-five years later, the events of that day continue to remind us how we can come together and support one another, even in times of profound loss.
We will never forget those who lost their lives, or the sacrifices made in the days and years that followed.
