Notice of the Passing of an Amending Development Charges By-Law
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the County of Middlesex passed amending development charges By-law No. 7428 on the 8th day of September, 2026 under section 2(1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended;
The amending by-law, which came into effect on the 8th day of September, 2026 has the effect of striking out and removing “and shall not include self-storage or mini-storage facilities” from the definition of Industrial Use.
The amending by-law does not change the schedule of development charge rates as set out in By-law No. 7291.
No key map has been provided as the by-law applies to all lands located within Middlesex County.
A copy of the amending by-law is available for examination at the Middlesex County offices, 399 Ridout St. North, London, Ontario N6A 2P1 during regular business hours (weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) excluding statutory holidays.
