Middlesex County Warden’s Statement on Canada Day
MIDDLESEX COUNTY: On July 1, 2026, Warden Sue Clarke issued the following statement regarding Canada Day.
Hello everyone, and happy Canada Day!
On behalf of Middlesex County, it’s my honour to extend warm Canada Day greetings to our residents, families, and communities across the County.
Today is a time to come together, reflect on what it means to be Canadian, and celebrate the values we share. In Middlesex County and across the country, kindness, resilience, and a strong sense of community define who we are.
I encourage everyone to take part in the many Canada Day events happening across Middlesex County. Whether it’s a local festival, parade, or fireworks display, these moments bring us together and showcase the spirit of the places we call home.
I’d like to take a moment to thank the many volunteers, community organizations, and local staff who help bring Canada Day celebrations to life. Your dedication and spirit are what make our region so special.
As we celebrate today with family, friends, and neighbours, I encourage everyone to take pride in where we live and in the strong sense of connection we share here in Middlesex County.
From Middlesex County to your family, I wish you a safe, joyful, and memorable Canada Day.
Happy Canada Day!
