MIDDLESEX COUNTY (May 20, 2026) – The eight local municipalities in Middlesex County are seeking qualified individuals to serve on the Joint Middlesex County 2026 Election Compliance Audit Committee, established under the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

The Committee plays an independent role in reviewing compliance audit applications related to municipal election campaign finances and contributions, helping to support transparency and public confidence in the municipal election process

Applicants should have demonstrated knowledge of municipal election campaign finance rules and experience in areas such as accounting, auditing, law, public administration, or adjudication. Committee members will serve for the Council term from November 15, 2026 to November 14, 2030, including any by-elections held during that time.

Members receive an honorarium of $200 per meeting, plus mileage.
