MIDDLESEX COUNTY, Monday, August 21, 2023 — Middlesex County is excited to announce a special back-to-school promotion exclusively for students, designed to ease their transition into the upcoming academic year. Students will enjoy free rides on both Middlesex County Connect bus routes from September 5th to 8th, 2023, helping them kickstart the new school year on the right foot.

In addition to the weeklong free ride promotion, we are proud to introduce a 30-Day Student Pass, a cost-effective solution that provides unlimited rides on both Middlesex County Connect routes for a 30-day period. “Priced at just $160, this pass aims to offer convenience, flexibility, and affordability for students as they navigate their academic journeys,” said Anum Maqsood, Community Transportation Project Manager. “Starting Monday, August 21st, 2023, students can conveniently purchase the student pass exclusively through the Blaise Transit app, enabling them to access their passes digitally and eliminating the need for physical tickets or passes.”

"Middlesex County is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our community members by providing reliable and accessible transportation options," said Cindy Howard, General Manager of Finance and Community Services. "With the back-to-school promotion and the new student bus pass, we are excited to empower students with affordable and accessible means of travel, fostering their educational pursuits."
