Middlesex County Engineer Chris Traini Awarded MEA Order of Merit at 2025 MEA Conference and Annual General Meeting

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, November 19, 2025 - Middlesex County is proud to announce that County Engineer Chris Traini has been awarded the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) Order of Merit, the highest honour the MEA can bestow upon a member. The award was presented at the 2025 MEA Annual General Meeting and Conference, held this year in London, Ontario.

The MEA Order of Merit recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, leadership, and dedication to the field of municipal engineering in Ontario. Chris was selected for the honour in recognition of his many years of active involvement with the association and his commitment to elevating the MEA’s profile and relevance throughout the province.

Chris has been a long-standing volunteer with the MEA, serving on a number of committees and providing guidance on key initiatives that have strengthened the association’s work. He served on the MEA Board of Directors from 2019 to 2024, and was the President in 2023.

The County congratulates Chris on this well-deserved recognition and thanks him for his continued leadership and service.
