1.         Transfer of Funds from Strathroy Library Reserve

That the Library Board approves the transfer of $6,725 from the Strathroy Library reserve fund to be used for the capital expenditure of a microfilm machine for the local history section of Strathroy Library. 

 

This task will be accomplished by the County Treasurer who maintains and manages the Library Board funds. 

 

 

            2.         Review of DVD Ratings Used in Middlesex County Library

THAT the RES 4 Other Materials be revised as follows:

a)Audio-Visual Materials

DVDs shall be collected with a balance among recreational, cultural and education titles for all age groups.  Preference will be given to titles which have literary connections, are classics of the film repertoire, or have shown proven popularity”.

When ratings exist, DVDs will be labelled using the Canadian Home Video Rating System or Ontario Film Review Board Rating, and will be labelled according to the following classification categories:
