Facility Closures

The health and well-being of Middlesex County staff, residents, and visitors is our number one priority. To help protect the health and safety of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, Middlesex County has suspended operations of several municipal facilities. The Middlesex County Administration Building located at 399 Ridout Street North in London, ON. is closed to the public until further notice.

In addition to the County Administration Building closure, Middlesex County has also taken the following actions:

  • All Library facilities will be closed to the public until further notice. Please review the Middlesex County Library’s website here for any new information.
  • Strathmere Lodge as directed by the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care is restricting visitors to those who are essential visitors in an effort to combat the threat posed by COVID-19. The Ministry is identifying essential visitors as those who have a resident who is dying or very ill. These visitors must continue to be actively screened prior to entering the Home.
