That Council authorize the Human Resource Manager to allow the selection of Option 2 with our provider. This affords the County protection from any very high cost drug claims and gives us more freedom should we choose to go to market for a new benefit carrier. Choice of Option 2 still provides us an opportunity to participate in the Profit Participation Plan with the Dental benefit.

 

2.         Proposal for Mobile LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) Mapping Services for Middlesex County

That the tender submitted by Intrepid General Ltd. in the amount of $1,389,414.26 plus taxes and contingencies for Contract M-E-13 for the rehabilitation of the McAdams Bridge and any excess funding required be taken from reserves and repaid as part of the 2014 bridge capital works budget allocation be accepted.

 

4.         County Road Assumption Request - Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc

That Caradoc Street from Victoria Street (County Road 44) to Carroll Street; and Second Street from Centre Road (County Road 81) to Hickory Drive (County Road 39) be assumed as part of the County Road system as of June 30, 2013 providing that Adelaide-Metcalfe and Strathroy-Caradoc agree to compensate the County for 1 year of road maintenance per kilometre, and that Strathroy-Caradoc provide funding in the amount of $50,000 to repair one large concrete culvert considered to be in poor condition.
