The Emergency Energy Fund (EEF) is a utility bill assistance program that runs in the late fall to early spring. This is a one-time assistance program to help those who are in jeopardy of disconnection of a utility service (i.e. Gas, Hydro, Propane, Oil).
In order to apply for this benefit you must currently have a disconnection notice or be disconnected.This Program is reserved for families in Middlesex County who are not receiving other forms of social assistance.
The following items are required to be submitted before an application can be considered:
- Completed Emergency Energy Fund Application Form
- Disconnection notice
- Most recent bill
- Permission to the Energy company to discuss the account with Middlesex Social Services.
